A highly clinical, practical book on carotid diseases, which focuses on management options. For each management question an expert from Europe and from the US offer their views, and for particularly controversial topics more than one author has been invited to comment. Conclusions or management options are summarized in a box at the conclusion of each topic, which allows easy referral. The book is divided up into three main parts, covering pre-operative work-up, operative aspects and post-operative care. Chapters include evidence-based recommendations and expert’s personal opinions and reflect on-going clinical debate.
